I learned SEO in Madrid, in a webmarketing master at the Complutense University of Madrid, taught by Sico de Andres, one of the best known Spanish consultants in the industry. The university ranks 187th worldwide in the QS World University Rankings 2026. The programme ended with a ranking contest between students, which I won.
Since then, eight years in markets where paid advertising is closed: online gambling, dating, CBD, sports betting. These are environments where you do not win with a blog and patience, but with structure, links and production sustained over time.
